This collaborative work combined the icpTOF with the Analyte G2 Excimer Laser Ablation System with Aerosol Rapid Introduction System (ARIS) for rapid, high resolution elemental imaging of carbonates. The authors propose fast multi-element screening of speleothems to decrease the sampling uncertainty and improve accuracy and precision of data used in paleoclimate reconstruction and age models.
