Using High-Resolution IMS-MS for Separation of Isomers and Analysis of Biomolecules: Poster DGMS 2016

IMS-MS was again one of the most prominent topics at this year’s German Society for Mass Spectrometry (DGMS) meeting. For example, Kevin Pagel of the Free University Berlin received the renowned Mattauch-Herzog award for his development of IMS-MS techniques for the characterization of glycans. Other IMS-MS talks and posters focused on the analysis of peptide and protein conformations, spectroscopic analysis of ion mobility-separated isomers, exploiting IMS in order to perform gas-phase chemistry on well-defined ionic species, and improved detection and identification of analytes in metabolomics and lipidomics.

TOFWERK was proud to contribute this poster demonstrating the advantages of the high-resolution IMS-TOF for the separation and analysis of isomeric biomolecules.
