A Vocus CI-TOF is bound for Antarctica on the Research Vessel Hesperides to participate in the POLAR CHANGE research expedition! The expedition led by polar scientist Manuel Dall’Osto from the Institute de Ciències del Mar (ICM-CSIC) in Barcelona will focus on a variety of research topics from monitoring chemical compounds in the air and water, to chemical processes related to pristine marine environment, new particle formation, and aerosol measurement.
This expedition includes over 20 researchers from 16 universities and 13 countries. The cruise departed from Punta Arenas, Chile, February 16th, and will end its campaign in Ushuaia, Argentina, March 26th, 2023.
