Using&nbsp;the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tofwerk.com\/zh\/icp\/\">icpTOF<\/a> equipped with a high-throughput rapid laser ablation system, they imaged&nbsp;a total of 59 thin sections at 5 \u00b5m lateral resolution in less than 30 h. The 3D image was reconstructed from the large data set of 2D maps using a data fusion approach and \u03bc-CT data. Using&nbsp;the complete, all-element&nbsp;mass spectra recorded by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tofwerk.com\/zh\/icp\/\">icpTOF<\/a>, they introduced a multi-isotope extraction approach in order to improve the signal-to-noise ratios.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left;\">&nbsp;<\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Stijn J.
